Card Authorisation
How do you curb the card defaults on your platform while increasing the roll-out to the entire user base? It's why Ola decided to introduce card authorization and payment during a ride.

Goal: To introduce upfront card payments without affecting the booking experience.
Process I followed:

Understanding the information being conveyed in the high-fidelity design mockups created by designer

Understanding the different user segments (credit/debit/existing/new) and differentiating the messages to be conveyed to them

Learning about the technological limitations in the pilot program and figuring out workarounds to communicate

Carrying out user surveys to eliminate confusing copy

Working with design to revise and place the content
Ola Money Postpaid
Ola Money Postpaid is a premium offering extended to Ola’s loyal user base. It lets users take multiple Ola rides up to their credit limit and just walk away at the end of their ride. They can repay the credit after completing the credit cycle or immediately after exhausting their credit limit.
